The setup works by configuring the Hikvision camera to push a live RTMP video stream to EarthCam’s platform.
EarthCam then hosts and displays the live feed on their website or embeds it into a client’s own site.
This approach provides a stable, real-time video stream that viewers can access easily, while still using robust, professional CCTV hardware on site.
Simply Security looks after the full installation and setup.
We carry out a site visit, install and position the cameras correctly, configure the network, and set up the RTMP stream to ensure everything works reliably.
We also work closely with EarthCam to make sure the live feed is delivered in the correct format and quality.
While the camera is being used for live streaming, it continues to function as a full security camera.
Video can still be recorded, accessed remotely, and integrated with app control if required.
This means you get a professionally installed CCTV system that also provides a live EarthCam feed, all supported and maintained by Simply Security.
